Shady Acres Care Home is a fictional location in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was a retirement home in New York City.
History[]
After faking his death by Kurse, Loki usurped the throne of Asgard from Odin, putting a spell on him, giving him amnesia and unable to care for himself, hence Loki sending Odin into exile as a patient at Shady Acres. Loki then used magic to take his form. When Thor returned to Asgard after a long absence, Thor saw through Loki's act and forced him to retrieve Odin. However, when they got to Shady Acres, they found it to be torn down. With Doctor Strange's help, they managed to find Odin, who had broken free from Loki's and somehow travelled to Norway.
