Mjolnir is a fictional object in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was an ancient Asgardian hammer-like tool and the signature weapon used by Thor until it was destroyed by Hela. It was enchanted by his father, Odin, so it could only be those who are deemed worthy and could summon lightning thus Thor's title of God of Thunder.
When it landed in the New Mexico desert and caused a crater, S.H.I.E.L.D. referred to it as an 0-8-4 (although the term wasn't revealed until a few years after).
