Saturday Night Live[]
On the December 11, 2012 episode, there is a sketch based on Chitauri invasion of New York. Maria Hill (played by Vanessa Bayer) informs Fury (played by Jay Pharoah) that the Chitauri have come through the portal, which Loki opened up with the Tesseract, but this only confuses Fury, who responds with "In English, woman!" Fury announces it's time to assemble the Avengers, which includes a super soldier, a monster, a god, and an archer, who uses regular arrows, which doesn't seem to impress Hill at all.
