Happy Hogan

Favreau as Happy Hogan in Iron Man 3.

Jon Favreau (October 19, 1966) was the first director of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which began with the film, Iron Man, followed by Iron Man 2. He did not direct Iron Man 3, electing to pursue making Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures' Magic Kingdom (he ended up making a live-action adaptation of Disney's The Jungle Book, instead), but stayed on as executive producer.

His son Max Favreau had a bit part in Iron Man 2, which was retconned to be a younger Peter Parker, once the character was integrated into the MCU in 2016.

Favreau provided audio commentary for Iron Man 2 and its deleted scenes on the DVD release.
