Drax is a fictional character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is played by Dave Bautista, except for the What If...? version, in which he was voiced by Fred Tatasciore.
Drax is a tattooed muscle-bound Kylosian[1] that could be considered primitive, but have a warrior-like code of honor. After his family were killed by Ronan the Accuser, he went on a killing revenge spree trying to find him, gaining the moniker, "Drax the Destroyer". It wasn't until he joined the Guardians of the Galaxy, that he was given some meaning back to his life again.
Drax was one of the victims of Thanos's use of the combined Infinity Stones' power, which he used to reduce the universe's population by half. Although this was undone by the Hulk.
