Amanda Carter

Amanda Carter is a fictional character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is played by Carole Ruggier.

Mrs. Carter was the mother of former S.S.R. agent Peggy Carter. Her death would undoubtedly have happened off-screen, as Carter died of old age herself (albeit also off-screen) in Captain America: Civil War.

• A promotional S.H.I.E.L.D. file on Peggy for The Avengers included in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase One: Avengers Assembled 10-disc box set, referred to Mrs. Carter's first name as Amanda, which was seemingly canonised for a newspaper Phil Coulson read in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode "Emancipation".
