Amanda[1] Carter is a fictional character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She is played by Carole Ruggier.
Mrs. Carter was the mother of former S.S.R. agent Peggy Carter. Her death would undoubtedly have happened off-screen, as Carter died of old age herself (albeit also off-screen) in Captain America: Civil War.
